Geeky Counselor In Training

This blog is essentially an outlet for all the things I wish I could blurt out during class, but don't. I'm a 26-year-old graduate student currently working on my Masters in Counseling, and although I identify as a multicultural feminist counselor I sometimes have to hold back a little in certain classes. I challenge the statuesque as much as I can, but I want that degree. Besides feminism, counseling, and social justice issues, I also love the geekier things in life, especially a few particular fandoms. For those wondering about where I'm coming from when I speak about certain issues, I am cisgender, female, fat, lesbian, white, and currently able-bodied (though I have struggled with an invisible disability in the past). I do my best to be aware of my privilege.
